Latest News from KRL/Mysteryrat's Maze Podcast

Be sure to keep reading so you don't miss out on the fun updates to our Patreon bonus content!

Earlier this year I shared with you some ways that you can help us and I wanted to give you an update on a few exciting things that have happened recently, and once again just share with you how you can help us.

First off, thanks so much to everyone who has helped, whether it was financial or by helping spread the word--it all means so much! We couldn't do any of this without all of you! KRL and Mysteryrat’s Maze rely heavily on the support of our readers and listeners through advertising (message me and you can get a new special deal on our advertising prices this fall), donations, and other means of support, so we can continue to give you as much mystery, theatre, animal rescue, and local content as possible! But one of the best things you can do to support us doesn't cost a penny--you can be a huge help to us by not only continuing to be a reader/listener yourself, but also by sharing about what we do with your friends and family! And you never have to worry, we will never, ever, charge for you to read KRL or listen to the podcast--we want it to be available for everyone!

NEWS! You can also now listen to Mysteryrat's Maze Podcast on our YouTube channel. We have been posting a few episodes a month starting at the beginning, so if you have never listened to those episodes this is a really simple way to catch up!

Update on our Patreon: Another great way that you can help us is to become a patron through our Patreon! It is also a fun way! For as little as $1 a month you can help us out and get some great bonus content. We have recently begun adding some new bonus content! Currently, I do a "Books/TV I Didn't Review" column each month, we also now get audio book recommendations from authors who have been featured on the podcast, some interviews with the actors who are the voice of the podcast, and coming soon some author interviews. We hope to continue adding more and more fun bonus content especially for our patrons. Also, you get a shout out on an episode of the podcast, and if you donate $5 a month you get a Mysteryrat's Maze logo sticker (after 9 months), and for those who donate $10 a month you get a Mysteryrat's Maze logo sticker (after 6 months) and Mysteryrat's Maze Mug (after 1 year)! The bonus content though is for all of our patrons no matter what your level is! And if you are thinking $1 a month doesn't matter, just think if 100 people would give $1 a month! Every little bit matters. So I hope you will consider becoming a patron! For those reading this who are patrons already, I thank you so much for your support!

HERE ARE A FEW MORE WAYS THAT YOU CAN HELP First off, things you can do that cost nothing and are just as important. Help spread the word about the magazine, the podcast (ratings and reviews there are great too), and my books. I know I mentioned this above, but it is so important that I felt it was worth repeating.

Next, here are a few things you can do financially to help out other than becoming a patron through Patreon, if you are able. And once again, please don’t feel any obligation, I know many of you are struggling too—it is my true hope that you get joy from all of our creative endeavors and that what we share with you helps make your days brighter. That is our goal with what we do, along with supporting all of the writers, artists, animal rescues, etc. that we write about!

1. Our wonderful friends at Untreed Reads have added KRL as one of the places people can donate to via their purchase of Happiness is Listening to Your Dog Snore directly from Untreed. For every paperback sold of this book through their website where the customer enters code KRL at checkout, they will send us $2. And you will get a book perfect for any dog lover! Here is the link for that untreedreads.com/product/happiness-is-listening-to-your-dog-snore-paperback-by-sandra-murphy
2. Something else you can do, and get something fun in return, is to buy something from our Redbubble shop! We have merchandise for KRL, the podcast, and my book (One of Us). Just click here.

3. We are also an Amazon Associate so if you are purchasing something from Amazon and click through one of our links (they are at the bottom of book reviews, and on our home page), we get a little bit out of that—that income is typically used to buy office supplies and such.
4. Lastly, you can also make a one-time donation to KRL/Mysteryrat’s Maze through Paypal.

Thanks so much for taking the time to read this, and thank you for being one of our readers and listeners—I hope you continue to enjoy our content, and I hope what we create brings you joy! I promise I won't share posts like this very often because I want you to spend your time reading our articles and reviews and listening to the podcast not listening to me talk about support. And remember, we will ALWAYS be free, just the more support we can get, the more we are able to give back to you!

And one final note, all of the animal rescues, authors, theatre companies, and other local artists could use your help as well! And one of the best ways you can support each of them is by telling others about what they do and leaving reviews!

Thank you so much for being our readers/listeners! Be sure to check out Mysteryrat's Maze here! And learn more about One of Us and find links to purchase it by clicking here. I am posting this on both KRL and KRL News to be sure all of our email subscribers get to see it! So I apologize for the doubling up if you get both.
