Killer’s Kiss is the eleventh, and second to last, book in the Lizzie Grace series by Keri Arthur. Lizzie is a witch and a psychic who was on the run for thirteen years from her powerful magical family who blamed her for her sister’s death and trapped her in an unwanted marriage. Her best friend and familiar Belle went on the run with her. The pair now run a tea and psychic consulting business on a werewolf reservation in Australia and have had many adventures together throughout the series so far—including finally seeing some closure with Lizzie’s family.

In the last book, Lizzie went to Canberra and saw her family and her ex’s family get the punishment they deserved for what they did to her. She is now back in Castle Rock and wondering if she has a future with werewolf ranger Aiden, whose child she is now carrying. Before she gets the chance to deal with her personal life, more danger faces the reservation in the form of a giant snake and a possible vampire war involving the vampire Maelle Defour, whom Lizzie has a history with. Something strange is also going on with the wild magic that Lizzie is connected to. Not only is all of this a threat to the reservation but also to everyone that Lizzie holds dear, including her unborn child. Lizzie, Belle, Aiden, and the other three witches on the reservation (Ashworth and Eli, and Lizzie’s cousin/Belle’s fiancé Monty) must all work together against this evil.

My favorite type of books are those that combine mystery and fantasy, and this series is a favorite of mine! Killer’s Kiss will keep you on the edge of your seat as this eclectic and wonderful team works together to once again save the reservation, and it will leave you wanting more right away as this book leaves you with a cliffhanger! However, we do get some closure in regards to Lizzie and Aiden’s future, and it was worth waiting for!

While I love everything about this series, my favorite thing is the characters and relationships—both romantic and that of found family. If you love a good mystery, magic, romance, and great characters, don’t miss Killer’s Kiss! I highly recommend that you start at the beginning of this series. I cannot wait for the next book; however, it will be bittersweet as I hate to see this series end.
