How do you try and break the stigma and promote responsible ownership of pit bulls and other bully-type dogs? Why, you have a giant Halloween bash and invite all your doggy friends!

It's that time of year again for Fresno Bully Rescue's Bully Boo Walk, our biggest event of the year! On October 21 at Woodward Park, for our eighth year running, you'll find four-legged ballerinas, vampires, bumblebees, and many more fun and colorful costumes. Believe us, you will find every breed. shape, and size dog enjoying themselves. There will also be a few FBR adoptable dogs out enjoying the festivities as well.

One adoptable that will be trick or treating is Stella. Sweet Stella was originally from a litter out of Bakersfield. Adopted and returned, she again found a home with a loving brother, Colonel (also an available FBR dog) only to be returned again due to her owner’s health.

This petite white and black speckled beauty was born with a hereditary condition that caused a deformity that leaves her with a distinct gait. It does not slow her down in the least; she loves a nice walk or to play with her pal, Colonel. Ultimately, Stella's favorite thing to do, though, is cuddle, long sessions if you don't mind! You'll be drawn in by her beautiful eyes, the most beautiful mismatched green and brown. She is a little coy when she first meets people, but quickly warms up and relaxes. There is even a cute little Mickey Mouse shaped spot on her chest! She would be quite content to be waiting for her family to come home and curl up on the couch and help you relieve your stress. It is proven that petting a dog, especially one as sweet and loving as Stella, increases oxytocin into your system. What more proof do you need that you should adopt this sweet girl?
