Life for Kiki Hepburn is going well. She loves living in Hawaii and working at the Aloha Lagoon Dive Shop with her boyfriend Dex. Kiki is also happy to have moved into her Auntie Akamai’s bungalow guest room.

Aunt Akamai hosts a mahjong game with her lady friends. Her gray parrot Paulie adds fun and excitement, sometime taking the mahjong tiles. Then a terrible thing happens. Celine Suzuki, a former teacher who is one of Auntie Akamai’s good friends, suddenly dies. At first, they think it is an allergic reaction, but it turns out to be murder. Now all of ladies are suspects. It could be Oliana Harris, a Pineapple Princess, or Margaux La Roux, or maybe Stella Keawe.

The detective on the case, Detective Ray, questions everyone involved. KiKi needs to know what really happened to Celine, so she investigates as well.

While Kiki and her boyfriend are working on a dive tour, they get invited to a Halloween-themed wedding at the resort. With Halloween only a few days away, the bride and groom want everyone to dress up for the event as zombies. Even the food will be Halloween themed.
