Deadly Vows is the sixth book in the Lizzie Grace series. Lizzie is a witch and a psychic who has been on the run for thirteen years from her powerful magical family who blame her for her sister’s death, and who trapped her in an unwanted marriage. However she is not alone, she has her best friend and familiar Belle. The pair run a tea and psychic consulting business on a werewolf reservation in Australia.

In Deadly Vows, Lizzie’s past has finally caught up with her—her father and her husband, Clayton Marlowe, have found out where they are. Clayton is determined to claim what he considers to be his, Lizzie, and Lizzie is determined not to let that happen. Thankfully she not only has Belle on her side but also her cousin Monty who has become the reservation witch, ranger and werewolf Aiden who she has been dating, the two other witches living there, and the ghosts who protect the wild magic on the reservation. Lizzie’s continually growing ties to the wild magic have also made her stronger, but what consequences may result from that they don’t yet know. As if that wasn’t enough, something is killing newlyweds on the reservation. To solve the problem of Clayton and of the creature killing newlyweds they end up having to enlist the help of a local vampire, and they also get help from a very unexpected place.

This is such a wonderful series and the characters are great. Lizzie’s relationship with Aiden is fun, but complicated. Lizzie’s cousin Monty is determined to win over Belle and it looks like he may be making some progress.

I was afraid since the confrontation with Clayton and Lizzie’s family was finally happening that this would be the final book in the series, but I was happy to find out that it is not. I love this series and can’t wait for the next one. It has everything—mystery, fantasy, and even a touch of romance. If you haven’t read the previous books, be sure to start with them—I highly recommend the entire Lizzie Grace series!
