Wraith's Revenge is the tenth book in the Lizzie Grace series by Keri Arthur. Lizzie is a witch and a psychic who was on the run for thirteen years from her powerful magical family who blamed her for her sister’s death, and who trapped her in an unwanted marriage. However, she is not alone; she has her best friend and familiar Belle. The pair now run a tea and psychic consulting business on a werewolf reservation in Australia and have had many adventures together throughout the series so far.

This book is quite different from the previous ones as Lizzie and Belle have returned to the magical city of Canberra that they once fled. Lizzie is back for her father’s trial, hoping he will finally pay for what he did to her. But of course, things can never be that simple. Back home she is constantly facing supernatural creatures and now she is facing one in Canberra—but this time it had a connection to her sister’s murder—and this time it is personal. Witches are once again being ritualistically sacrificed and Lizzie’s family is being targeted. She and her friends must hunt down a wraith of a man who is after the ultimate revenge before her whole family is murdered. She also has a lot of complicated emotions to deal with now—those from her past and trying to reconcile with her mother, and the complicated relationship she left back on the reservation with Aiden—one that might be about to get even more complicated.

Keri Arthur creates such wonderful characters and lore and I can’t wait for the next book in the series, which sounds like it will take them all back to the reservation to face what is waiting for Lizzie there—both personally and magically, as she continues to learn more about her connection to the wild magic. This series has a little bit of everything—it is the perfect blend of mystery and fantasy with a little romance thrown in. I highly recommend this book and this series, but be sure to start from the beginning. Wraith’s Revenge will definitely be on my Best Books of 2023 list!
