Readers looking for a page-turning art mystery should pick up Bearer of Secrets book three in Nupur Tustin’s Celine Skye Psychic Mystery series. While this can be read as a stand-alone because the mystery within this story is resolved, there is an overarching plotline that ties back to previous books. I wished I had read those previously as I had to play a few minutes of catch-up. Of course, I have added the previous entries in the series to my to-be-read list!

However, when a stolen Degas taken eight years after the heist surfaces, new clues prompt new visions for Celine. These visions reveal many things, but intensify the feelings the Celine has that Clara is in danger. Celine, with the help of her friends at the FBI, sort through her visions and the clues they discover at a breath-taking pace.
Once I settled into the story, I could not stop turning the pages. This is a multi-layered mystery with clues stacked upon clues. I found myself second guessing who I could trust and wondering how in the world it would all come together. The pacing is thrilling and the ending nail-biting. This is an exciting and engaging read with writing that pulled me in!

ReplyDeleteI am a fan of Nupur’s writing style and this series is quite entertaining with its focus on the art world. The “psychic” twist adds to the complexity. Kathleen C. kat8762(at)aol(dot)com
