Young author Sara Fanfarillo makes an impressionable debut in her book, Everlasting. Sara takes her readers on a thrilling adventure with her amiable main character, Kendall. Kendall is an average boy who has lived a sheltered life with a distant father and the mysterious ghost of his mother who died long ago. Her absence continues to haunt his life until his father disappears one day, leaving Kendall with a key. This key unlocks doors to worlds for Kendall to explore, rife with danger, disorienting experiences, and strange new people. He appears to frequently cross between reality and the fantasy that swirls around him

Sara Fanfarillo’s style definitely stands out through this story. Her descriptions are deliciously deep and precise, and she portrays Kendall’s feelings throughout his adventures with insightful phrases. This talented author unfurls landscapes before her readers with a practiced hand and creates worlds readers can step into. For an 18-year-old author, this is a truly remarkable story, written in Sara’s distinctive voice.
I would recommend this engaging story to anyone who enjoys sitting down with a thrilling fantasy novel and getting drawn into the story. Sara’s descriptive writing style will absolutely hook you and leave you breathless until Kendall’s breathtaking journey ends with a dramatic twist. As a reviewer, I look forward to watching Sara’s career develop and seeing what else she will bring to the world.
