All four women encounter mysterious characters and royalty with issues of their own.

Annie Park and Carol Hillare thrilled to meet up with Annie’s old counselor, only to find that she has changed drastically. With some shady characters in the picture, and suspicious clues that point to poisoning, Annie and Carol begin investigations. However, they are racing against the clock as the elderly lady is already in a perilous position.

Meanwhile, another of their partners, Christine Wilson-Smythe is expecting a child––in the hospital. However, her circumstances don’t stop her as she investigates the troubles of a couple wine connoisseurs. She finds her own independence and peace in the turmoil of pregnancy and as a woman private investigator.

Mavis McDonald and Althea Twyst gather at a Scottish castle to spend time with family, but it’s not long before Mavis becomes distracted with an old friend who asks for her help, and she becomes involved in a troubling situation.
