I know I normally do cozy mysteries, but I am always down to
check out up and coming fantasy books! I was super interested in checking out
The Dragon Within by Marty Sommers, because who doesn’t love dragons.
His luck changes when he rebels against the unfairness of his life and bonds with a tiny silver dragon with a huge ego and the power to move mountains. It amplifies William’s power, and he goes on a journey of self-discovery that ultimately leads to a final showdown between two unlikely enemies. With his newfound allies, William takes a stand and makes a choice to protect above all else.
With epic battle scenes reminiscent of the Eragon battles full of magic and bravery, Sommers combines William’s emotional complexity with comedy and brave last stands.
If you enjoy fantasy books with dragons, action, adventure, and a relatable main character, you will enjoy The Dragon Within which combines humor, whimsy, and an exciting character-driven plot to produce an entertaining and suspenseful read.
